Chatters (both) not recognized when connected to Mac (apple M2)

Hello! Our chatters connect to each other and work, but are not recognized when connected to Mac (apple M2)

macOS enumerates the device as USB JTAG/serial debug unit. It does not expose a CDC serial interface, so Web Serial shows no compatible devices.

This appears to be an ESP ROM/debug mode state after factory reset. Please advise on recovery firmware or replacement.

To help us investigate further, could you please send the following information to our email (contact@circuitmess.com):

  1. A photo of the device outside of its case.
  2. The output of the commands on your Mac where the Chatter is connected, for example:
  • ls /dev/cu.*
  • Any output showing the device as a USB JTAG/serial unit

This will help us understand exactly what state the device is in. Once we review it, we may have some follow-up questions.
