Jay-D SD Card Is Not Empty, but Jay-D Says Empty

We assembled our JD and went to try to play back songs from the SD card. When we loaded the card on our windows 11 machine the SD card showed all of the songs that were pre-loaded onto the card, but when we put the card into the SD slot on the Jay-D and select the Playback option we get a message that says the SD card is Empty. We have run all of the tests and everything appears to be working as expected. Does anyone have any idea what we might be able to do to get the Jay-D to read our SD card?

Side note, we read some information on reformatting the SD card and we have tried that already (formatting to FAT32) along with re-loading all of the songs onto the root directory of the card.

Were you able to solve this? I’m having the same issue.

Thank you for reaching out! I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue, but we do have a troubleshooting step that usually fixes this right up.

If you happen to have a spare SD card on hand, we highly recommend giving it a try. First, you will need to format the new SD card to FAT32. Once that is done, simply copy all the content from your original SD card over to the new one, insert it into your device, and try powering it on again.
