This is curious: I entered 3 contacts using the Contacts menu. They are listed in that menu in the order:
A
B
C
which is the order in which I entered them; and they are in that same order in the .core/contacts.json file on the SD card. However, when I open the Phone menu, they are listed in the order:
C
A
B
What determines the order of contacts displayed in the Phone menu?
Hey Frank,
The order if the Phone menu is determined by the frequency you call that number!
Just try to dial one of the numbers a few times and you should see it rise up in the order, so you’ll have your mostly dialed numbers at the top of the list.

Can I change that so it follows Alphabetical order, programming?
You can change it by changing the firmware code by yourself.
It shouldn’t be too hard to find - there has been plenty of topics on forum about changing something in the firmware manually.
If you still haven’t gotten to that part yet, it would be a great place to start!
