Bonjour,actuellement je fais les mise a jour de mon makerphone ringo directement via l’application dans le telephone via Setting,About & update,check for update et j’entre mon mot de passe wifi de ma box internet.Aprés avoir essayer de faire la mise a jour 1.0.5 hier ,mon ringo a flashé longtemp trés longtemp ,et ce rallume enfin avec la version 1.0.2 ,autant vous dire que comme j’utilise mon ringo tous les jours avec bonheur comme telephone perso,je viens de refaire un bond en arriére au niveau firmware ,la 1.0.2 .Malheureusement je n’ai jamais reussit a utiliser arduino pour faire les mise a jours ou autre donc pour recupérer la mise a jour 1.0.3 je ne sais pas comment faire… :sueur froide:
Ouch, there must be some kind of a problem then.
Don’t know what happened since we’ve tested 1.0.5 on numerous devices and everything updated perfectly. Can you try to update it once again over the phone?
If that doesn’t help, Arduino IDE can help you get your phone to any of the versions.
What is exactly that is bothering you with Arduino and what kind of issues are you having?

bonjour,merci de votre reponse,j’ai encore tester ce matin la mise a jour via mon telephone et toujours lors du telechagement de la mise a jour,un ecran blanc,longtemp,puis mon makerphone ringo redemarre et toujours avec la version 1.0.2.
Arduino est trop compliqué pour moi qui n’y connais strictement rien en codage,donc l’importation de la bibliothéque ringo j’y arrvie mais pour faire la mise a jour via arduino ,je n’y arrive pas sans avoir un tuto pour m’expliquer comment fonctionne arduino en mise a jour du makerphone,en suivant le tuto demarrage d’installation d’arduino avec Serial,print(115000) pour expliquer le codage ,tous va bien ,mais aprés je mis perd totalement pour installer une mise a jour via arduino,je me sens bien seul avec arduino,désolé.

You can skip the steps 9., 10.,11. and 12.
The important thing to do is, after installing Ringo Board, to go to Tools->Programmer->Ringo Firmware and then select Burn bootloader. That is all there is to it.
You shouldn’t have any problems with it and it should get the latest version on your phone.
Also, before doing that, it is important to upload Ringo board file in board manager. It is explained in some of the previous steps in the tutorial.
Just go to Tools->Board->Boards manager… search for Ringo and click Update.
Instead of updating, you can also revert to some of the older versions, which also feature older versions of the phone (1.0.1., 1.0.2…), and you can restore that as well via Burn bootloader.
