Ringo Update #3 - CircuitBlocks update + a little bit of everything

Hi boys and girls, :boy: :girl:

There are a couple of things we’d like to inform you about!

To start things off with the bad ones - some of you guys have been complaining about the Mac version of CircuitBlocks not working! Some of the Mac computers are known to having troubles with the connection to the devices over the USB port. This can be caused by numerous issues regarding lack of power or the bad cable/adapter. :computer:

Firstly, make sure that your computer recognizes the device and just then move on to the next steps. Some of the possible issues are listed here on the official Apple support page so check that out if you’re having connectivity issues -> https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/mac-help/mchlp1641/mac.

Now to the fun stuff!

CircuitBlocks just got a new update (YAY!) which fixed some of the things and makes the whole user experience even better! :iphone:

You can download it here: https://github.com/CircuitMess/CircuitBlocks/releases/

If you still haven’t been properly introduced to it, here is a little tutorial: https://www.circuitmess.com/circuitblocks-tutorial/

Also, our community members @Coyote72 and @Blixten have been veeeeery active and have produced some really neat 3D designs! You can check out their work here and here. :building_construction:

Now that the ice has been broken, we encourage everyone to use one of the 3D tools and create designs of their own! We’re planning to make some new designs in the future but you can completely personalize yours right now!:art:

Last but not least, we’ve made some updates to the Ringo library, which will be available on Arduino platform to download very soon ( Library manager). Keep up to date!

Post your thoughts and questions here and for any major problems, contact@circuitmess.com is the way to go. :mailbox:

Cheers to everyone from the CircuitMess team,
