Thanks to the excellent tutorial on https://www.instructables.com/id/Streaming-video-from-SD-card-to-Nokia-LCD-with-Ard/ I managed to convert a Star Wars lightsaber scene.
I wonder if the whole movie fits on a 128MB SD card

That looks brilliant! I want to do this! How much time did you spend to do this?
This would work great for cut scenes in games, or even a mini video library to watch small clips to your leisure.
It did take a few hours to convert the movie clip. It is actually over 22 minutes long!
And it took some time to get used to the tools needed, like ffmpeg, audacity and imagemagick.
Especially the ‘mogrify’ feature of imagemagick takes quite a bit of time. But worth it!
But once you know the drill, it is basically fire and forget.
It would indeed work great for cut scenes in games
