Hello, when I connected the Artemis through the circuitmess website to upload some programs to my watch, it asks me to install MicroPython; however, when I tried, the screen gets white. I successfully managed to restore firmware several times, but I tried to install MicroPython 1.27.0 through Thonny, and now the screen is white and if I try to connect the device through the website, it doesn’t detect it (nothing appears on the list). I’m on Ubuntu using Google Chrome.
The device and ports are detected through console commands and Thonny, but I can’t manage to access or recover it. Can anyone help me?
Hi,
No problem at all, we’ve got your back! It sounds like you’ve run into a bit of a firmware “limbo” between the custom CircuitMess environment and the standard MicroPython build. I have already forwarded your specific details (Ubuntu, Chrome, and the Thonny interaction) to our technical team.
They are currently looking into this exact scenario to see why the screen is washing out and why the web-browser serial detection is hanging. We are working to find a recovery solution for you as quickly as possible so you can get back to coding.
