Hello,
We are trying to restore firmware to return the Clockstar 2.0 to default after coding. I have run the Restore Firmware from code.circuitmess.com and I get the “Firmware restored successfully” message, however the screen is black and none of the buttons respond.
I have cycled the power switch with the device both plugged into the computer and unplugged. Each time, the screen flashes white momentarily but then turns black and stays black. None of the buttons respond.
I know with a lot of Adriano or Rasperry PI devices, I’ve had to disconnect the battery for 10 sec or up to a few min to do a hard reset. Did you try that? Thank you!
Hi thank you for the response.
I have not tried that because in order to do so we would have to take the watch apart - -and from what I am reading the firmware must be reset every time wou want to switch from the micropython back to the watch firmware.
Have cycled the power to off for 10 seconds and back on. I hope it doesn’t require a hard battery reset every time!
Same thing happened with mine. Get the following error…
