Fail at step 12

HI all,

Thanks a lot for the cool product! We tried to follow instructions until Step 12, but unfortunately no text was displayed at that stage. After checking the debugging guidance, I did not see any obvious errors.

Here are pics of the board. Hopefully quality is good enough.

Hey, thank you for supporting MAKERbuino.

Can you please verify that you’ve soldered the 22pF capacitors next to the crystal?

I can’t see that numbers on the capacitors from this angle.

Yeah, the number 22 was a bit faint but from this angle you can see that it was the correct one. What could be the next step in debugging?

Continue with step 13 (soldering R3 - 10kOhm resistor) and try step 12 again :slight_smile:

Yeah, do what @Bl4ckM4ch1n3 said and see if it helps.

If that doesn’t work, send us your MAKERbuino (only the circuit board) to:
