Thanks for taking the time to read my post!
I haven’t received my Makerbuino yet, but I’m super excited to get started.
This will be my first time soldering anything, so I hope I don’t mess up too badly… but hey, if a kid can do it, so can I - right?
I chose the kit with tools, since I don’t already have my own. I also picked yellow buttons for a bright, sunshiny pop of color. And I ordered a 3D printed back plate in transparent red to match the PCB and show off the guts that I will have proudly assembled!
The first solder project is always something special.

Thanks so much! I bet this will come in very handy.

Besides making good tutorials, Collin is quite charismatic too!
Super video. You should add this link in the tutos. Very good and complete explanation
@Jean-Charles_Lebeau, it’s already in build guide’s chapter #3.
And yes, I do agree that the video is super-snazzy
