Also the two slide switches because the 10 ohm resister fooled me being on the wrong side, only after have I realized what I have done, is there any way to fix this, or is this the end of my portable gaming system?

This can be solved, no worries. Can you please try to un-solder the resistor and re-use it on the other side? Just try to heat up both joints in a very short period o time and pull out the resistor. Keep in touch and we’ll try to resolve this!
