Hello everybody, I see that @WesMess have a similar problem as myself. My son lost the original SD Card and I bought a new one, but Jay-D says that ‘There is no SD Card’. So should I format the SD Card to FAT32? On @WesMess case it doesn’t worked. @CircuitMess support doesn’t answer at all. Could someone give some feedback about this?
First of all, I’m really sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
Yes, the SD card must be formatted to FAT32 in order for Jay-D to recognize it properly. If it’s formatted in exFAT or another format, the device will show “There is no SD Card.”
After formatting to FAT32, please follow these steps carefully:
Download the zipped SD card content from this page:
Extract (unzip) the downloaded file on your computer.
Copy the extracted sound files directly onto the SD card.
Important: The sound files must be placed directly on the SD card, they must NOT be inside any folder. If they are inside a folder, Jay-D will not detect them.
Once done, safely eject the SD card, insert it into Jay-D, and power it on.
