Sometimes when receiving SMS texts, no message shows up and the sender’s number shows up as a “+” sign. Other times I receive them just fine. I have been able to send and call without fail, and I was wondering what the problem could be that would cause the sender to show up as a “+” sign. Also, every text I have sent or received from another Ringo(my brother’s), has shown up as a “+” sign, and nothing else.
I have the 4G version.

This appears to be the issue of the SD card. Please format your SD card, since they can easily be corrupted and cause little problems like these. You can download the default SD package from this link.
Does this also happens on the other Ringo or just on yours?
