Spenser doesn't show welcome msg or connect

I assembled the Spenser kit and plugged it into my MacOS laptop via USB port. In circuitBlocks I see msg:
“Could not connect”

I checked all soldered points. LED, resistor, and capacitor have correct polarity.

Can the PCB be broken? I wish there were more instruction on troubleshooting.

Alright, so first things first, your gonna restart the spencer by turning it off and on. If you hear the welcome message when its on, try Step 1 first. If you already tried diffrent usb ports then skip step 1.

Step 1: Try another usb port. Soemtimes Circuitmess has a faliure aith some usbs. Some USB hubs can cause a issue.

Step 2: If that didnt work then goto Restore Firmware, select spencer and restore his firmware.

Step 3: If that doesnt work then send to he circuitmess email your issue.

Make sure your usb transfer cable is data transfer, and it cant just support data transfer, it also needs to be able to transfer power, try using a usb-c, to a usb-c (from 3 years ago or newer because of power delivery)

if this doesn’t work, look at petar’s instructions (step 3)
