I am trying to connect my Batcontroller to my Macbook Air with a USB-C cord but the circuitblocks on Chrome always says device not connected. I have tried with the web serial connection as well the circuitblocks agent. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Could you try to connect it to another computer so we can check if the problem is in the connectivity with Mac.
